About

I’m Kim, Catholic homeschooling mom to 4 wonderful children and wife to Philip (physicist, handyman, gutter cleaner, tire kicker, and all around cutie-pie).

We homeschool in the Charlotte Mason educational style, but with many influences from Reggio Emilia. The Charlotte Mason approach is beautiful in its insistence on “living books” and nature study. Reggio offers my family its insights on learning through long-term projects and its appreciation for fine and natural materials.

Here you’ll find a glimpse into what we do, how we live, and how we make it all work. Enjoy your visit to our little blog!
