The following conversation could be overheard recently in our home:

Philip:  “Dominic, we need to leave for gymnastics.  Comb your hair.”

Dominic:  “I can’t.  I’m not flexible.”

Philip:  “Dominic, you need to comb your hair.”

Dominic:  “I can’t.  I’m wearing my shoes.”

(This conversation actually made some sense in context but it still gave me a chuckle listening to it from the next room!)
